Our Story
We crossed paths in 2019 in Chicago, the city where the wind never quits, the winters test your will to live, and the pizza is deeper than the conversations.
When the COVID pandemic hit, we found ourselves stuck together, but instead of driving each other crazy, we realized that life is way better when we're together. In those early days
of our relationship, we adopted Pepper, our first dog, who promptly solidified our bond (because, apparently, nothing says commitment like picking up poop at 6 a.m.). More recently, Roscoe joined us, and our little family became complete (and significantly furrier). Despite our different backgrounds, we quickly discovered how similar we really are, from our attention to details, through our obsession with work, to our affinity for Wisconsin cheese curds and Polish pierogi (the ultimate relationship glue).
Viola's an avid scientist, an analytical over-thinker with plenty
of (often dark) humor and a soft spot for animals. Jacob, who's
a financial crisis consultant, is a sharp freak in the spreadsheets, always calm and collected, but also the first to address the elephant in the room - tactfully, of course (most of the time).
All that combines into a perfect blend of chaos, occasional calm, and dog hair on everything.
Summarizing, we really like and always support each other (even if it’s Jacob's questionable dance moves or Viola's musical taste). We plan to continue this weird adventure together, curious to see where life takes us and how many more animals (and maybe even children) we end up with along the way!
